Just come off the phone from the police, had a job opening my 40ft freezer box trailer today, I had moved it down to another w/shop ,eventually got the back door up to find there was daylight inside--- a hole through the roof and ALL my Snap- On gone --- and other stuff
about £35,000 worth two massive chests virtually empty.
I am not a happy bunny.

Blimey, I was upset when I had my concrete mixer and whacker plate nicked out of my container, your loss puts it into perspective.

I'm guessing there's not much chance of the police recovering it, please say its insured!

Its difficult to insure tools in a mobile vehicle, I have to contact the insurance Monday.

I feel your pain Norm, I hate having stuff nicked. they really have gone to town on you. We still all seem to think the door will be the method of attack. Thieves probably can't string two words together but will know hundreds of ways to steal other peoples property. Are you insured? an what did they cut the roof with?

cant say at the moment, its grp box so a brick pavier its still inside.

top of the box is 15ft high so didnt see the hole
but they have cut all the webbing used to hold everything and it all has moved gas bottles fallen into the tool boxes etc etc
they have barred open the boxes and cabs one was £3000 and the other about £700 2x 4ft side cabs tipped over trays of things just thrown all over it is a right mess.

I know------- you wrap it up into a long roll------ then wrap it round the ******** throat------- then pull reasonable hard on each end till they go blue then tie a knot in it.

I had some Snap On tools nicked 20 years ago
Horrible feeling I had worked hard for them
At least the insurance payed out in FULL

I sympathise, I had my motorbike nicked last night. Walking back to the place you parked it and finding a snipped chain is a horrible feeling. Fingers crossed on the insurance pal.
