Bottom / side exit Gauge?

Hi,

Just curious but can a bottom entry gauge be used on a side entry bottle connection without any problems?

I didn't realise when I bought the reg that I should have got side entry, oops.. but don't want to buy another reg if its okay to use as in the pic.

P.s. Bottle of Coogar from Co2 Services in Connahs Quay, North Wales £178 that's including bottle rental, think he said a refill is £54.. not sure if thats good or bad, but very local to me..

Yes, no problem at all using it like that.

apart from your output hose will kink stuck upover after time i use my oxyacet reg sideways and the reg knob is on the top

A loop in the hose and a cable tie to the valve guard will cure that

Or turn the reg 90° so gauges face up and hose barb is horizontal?.
