I Have been reading up a little re purging. It seems that sometimes cheaper gases are used to purge. Namely Nitrogen or even CO2. (Is helium too expensive?) I have never heard of this till now and always assumed you had to use Argon to stop sugaring. Although I suppose as long as the Oxygen in the atmosphere is kept from the work, that's the only important thing.
Does anyone on the forum use Nitrogen or CO2 for their purging ?
