a couple of young lads i know worked for a builder and had a cortina painted orange with 01 on the side and called it the general lee . they were digging a big post out and hooked it up to the general with rope they pulled away and ripped the back end of the car off

Loved the original series, there seemed to be loads of series around that time centred around cars, trucks planes and helicopters etc. the fall guy, airwolf, the a team, knight rider, smokey and the bandit films as well as loads of others all inspired me to be a petrol head with a love of all things automotive/ mechanical

Good advert. Back in the mid 80's my girlfriend of the time walked in wearing shorts and asked me if her legs looked Daisy Duke's, being she was 5'1 and the all important 1/4" I said "More like Stumpy Duke". Never happy that girl.

nahh deffo turns to orange in the pigpen a couple of times and and again later in clip glad your not a witness to accidents it was red officer
