Not wishing to put a downer on anybodies ideas or opinions, but in my personal opinion Id have a look at ESAB wire if your running a lot of wire. Used it in my last job welding mainly heavy structural steel, aswell as light fabrication, and was great stuff. Specifically the grade which is not copper coated. Not sure what specific OK.00 number it was, or what it was coated with, might have been silicon, but it fed like a dream even with a less than straight torch, and torch liners lasted for months at a time when getting through a spool of 1mm wire in 3-4days.
black / grey instead? We used Esab uncoppered 1.6mm for a bit - the best thing about it was that the feed rollers didn't become buried under red dust.
