I have a prehistoric wood-cutting vertical bandsaw that takes 9 foot blades and will rip (I kid you not) through 6mm alloy plate like it was plywood. It will cut 12mm alloy as well , just takes longer

Forgot to add, the number of TEETH on the blade, 300mm I would expect 96T+ something with 36 teeth on a 300 is not going to like ally sheet, could be negative rake as well.Circular saw, get kitted up with PPE, gloves, full sleeves, full face mask if Possible, and of course ear defenders-- So the lot. keep the blade just through the ally and keep the crown guard as low as poss, consider clamping a pressure pad to the fence to keep the shet pushed down on the table, bit candle grease on the blade, and a good push stick or two.
