There is something of a history of casting around here; the first Big Ben was cast not far from my house... shame the soft southerners dropped it and it cracked![]()

I have a couple of small items I want cast. I was thinking of doing them from aluminium but cast iron would be so much better.
Thin castings can be difficult as the pour cools before it flows out, might be why you have had no reply!
