Does anyone know where I can get ABS plastic welding rods from ?

Cheers Dan , yeah I know you can get them from fleabay but I need to find a supplier for work.

Try a local plastics supplier, most will be able to get it.

Failing that Barnes, I have used them for years.

I have never heard of these but the range is huge, and they seem to produce their own, but no round rod which is what is the most common.

I can check where we get ours from, I do not have any input in that area anymore, if you wish.

Trying to get anything like that here in Devon is like trying to find gold rocking horse chit.....just looked at Barnes and they look likely candidates sometimes wish I was back home in the northeast, wasn't much that wasn't available in my younger days.

Just thought too, ABS needs to be dried, 80* I think, to get the absorbed moisture out. Saves it boiling out and ruining the weld.
