Cheap ebay bender

Looks a bit waffy but if only doing small stuff should work

Haven't used one but it looks ok for the job.

With tube benders it tends to be the quality of the formers that tend to let them down.

Going by the quality of the instructions it should be in a pile of broken bits of monkey metal very quickly.
As MK says, probably ok for the lightest of light stuff but that's about it. The price more than anything tells you what it would be like.

The handle is very short. I bend lots of conduit 20 and 25mm thin wall stuff and the handle is at least 4 times longer than that. Search for Record conduit bender.

Also the adjuster mechanism is fairly weak by the looks of it

The slotted handle is a poor design. I would put money on it being cast.....throwing you on the floor when it lets go!

I got my record bender for £5 from the college I worked at. It's like new really as the old workshop instructor only liked hilmor as he knew the bending marks which the record didn't have (as a student we nicknamed him dr death and he delivered pizza at weekends)

conduit isnt thin wall and bending 25mm conduit increases the size of your gonads and the handle on my hilmor bender is no longer than 3 foot

I got mine last week they are made ok and as of yet nothing has broke. Had ago at 25mmx1mm tube and ya it sort of did the job with out killing me self in effort but it was a foot on the bench job. In the end the tube was bent was flat on one side might get better going up in size of tube but id say i'm unsure if that will work might try sand in the tube next time but that is some thing I didnt want to have to do. Keep your eyes open mine could be on ebay very soon.
