mad kayaker is right about the box. the amount of tools I have lost due to crap boxes us unbelievable. now I have a tool bag that stays at my side, and I big hefty lock box that is bolted into the van mad from 4mm steel
A sign that you need a particular tool is if you've if you've borrowed one of them a couple of times means you need to buy one.
As has been said, wait till you start on the job so you can see what you need.I'd start with a Dremel engraver followed by small engineers set square, decent quality tape measure that you can get replacement tapes for and a couple of cheepies and a sliding set square all engraved using the dremel.

Well, I own two hondas and nothing else so didn't feel inclined to generalise. However it seems like they owned stock in fastener companies with the amount of phillips head screw that get chewed up on these things.I think you mean 'Japanese', not just Honda...
