Only problem is it uses threaded bar whereas proper square thread would be better. Maybe an old caravan jockey wheel could provide something suitable ?

You can get acme threaded bar. Its much better thab square for high loads.

Wonder what welding machine he uses?? looks small with inner shield wire,,,,good welds...

Don't want to sound picky, but he obviously doesn't like safety gear! No disc guard, no handle on grinder, holding grinder with one hand, no welding gloves or welding shirt, no clamp on the drill vice, accidents waiting to happen I think. Oh well, each to their own I suppose.

Holding grinder with one hand is standard issue.

Might be "standard issue" till the blade binds and then pulls the grinder out of your hand, then it becomes interesting, especially if the trigger is locked down and no guard over the blade. Most of the time you can get away with holding one that way, but eventually you might have to do the hot shoe side step trying to avoid a bouncing spinning grinder! Ask me how I know!!

It is amazing how those things can bounce and jump around when loose. Now I only use 2 handed rat tail grinders.

u obviously dont do much with a grinder then otherwise u wouldnt say that.ive dressed cut and ground more material than u have had hot dinners and not using both hands isnt recomended. when u have been burnt with disks and had your skin wire brushed u will change your ways
