Anyone "into" building adult pedal car, tadpole trikes, pedal quads etc ?

In my quest to build the perfect (for me) mobility scooter with off road capability I'm now thinking that lightweight but tough and strong cycle / mountain bike components could be worth considering.
At present got massive amount of links to view

The one aspect I'm struggling to find is UK suppliers of components like steering, hubs, suspension, and such.
Any recommendations ?

No.Those guys are in The Great Satan The ideas are the same. Light motorcycle stuff up front from a boneyard.
You might talk to these guys (UK) about these or something similar (unless you want to pedal it.

The link I gave earlier was just for ideas. The frame is stupid simple to make on a steel table with simple tacked on fixtures.

steering == secondhand off of bikes.

same as the rest of the parts realy, and can be dirt cheap.

http://endless-sphere.com is a good site ,, lots of members have designed and built bikes/ trikes.
ok the site is more to do with electric bikes, but is worth looking and asking about ideas

moped stuff usally gets used i think

made an offroad wheelchair and that had small motorbike / moped donors. mountain bike wheels don't take side loads very well nor do the bearings
