What Glue?

Hi

The plastic coating is coming away
from the metal interior of the gear stick
on my Fiat Tractor ,any advice what glue
to stick it on again.The coating is spongy
like the covering on steering wheels.

Can't quite picture what you mean but if the plastic/rubber foam is peeling off then I should imagine that evostik or sikaflex would do it.

tigerseal is the king, stick anything to anything, and once its gone off it doesnt let go

Just looked it up - it's a Polyurethane glue, same as the Gorilla glue I use. Bloody good at gluing many things. Moisture-activated.

gorilla glue and tiger glue is fantastic stuff. most of my old camper was helt together with one or other (both inside and out!)

another vote for gorilla glue,been using it for years,you'll have a hard job getting it off once its cured
