I think the pivot bolt goes straight through. I also think the head is superimposed onto a false body or it's an animation like Max Headroom

I notice the first weld shown on the intro is a vertical down which is frowned upon in welding circles. Not a very good start really

Video is as old as the hills. Seem to remember it being on a VHS tape i borrowed from my lecturer after my first evening at Level 1 C&G MIG evening classes. Many many moons ago.

Looks more like Tom Selleck (Magnum PI) to me
