odd pulleys

mates justdropped off some pulleys his work was throwing out.
they arent normal v-type they are flatin groove.
got project that i can use them on but dunno what type of belt they need.
any ideas pls?

have a look at fenner drives (now called Eriks I think) they have the full range of drives for the range of pulleys, belts toothed belts, V belts , power drive , multiple belts etc...

that'll give you the range of belt types.

Just for general info, regarding pulleys if the ones you obtained aren't any use, Fenners also do the full reange of couplings, taperlocks etc, plenty of good info, that'll give you the gen on what's available, should be able to sort one out, then either buy them or better yet use their dimensions to make one...

Search for Poly-V belts if it's the type with several vee ridges running along their length, else timing belts if it's the type with flat ridges across their width.
