Late availability holiday websites

As the title. Anyone know of any decent holiday websites apart from the usual suspects after a google search?

Looking to go in 3 weeks time but I don't think it's short enough yet to get any "last minute" deals

Just go to the Travel Agents a week before and they will sort it. We went to Menorca a few weeks ago and paid about £300 each less than the book price.

Weather was awful though

Thanks for the info on the French hol home. I have two small kids (3 & 2) so looking for a more traditional beach holiday this time round.

I thought the same about the time scale, I think the later we leave it the better.

That hotel review site makes me laugh, you end up more confused the more you read the reviews. Some people have a great time and lovely place, food blah blah, then others who stayed at the same time have a really bad impression and say the food was crap etc.

That often comes down to price paid and expectations that have been set.

Yeah I understand about differing expectations and opinions but they often seem to be from one extreme to another. Either it's fantastic and best place we ever stayed or its terrible and I would never go back.

That's actually to be expected. Feedback generally falls into the very positive or very negative, it's a human problem if something is so so we don't really talk about it.

A colleague just came back from Tenerife with his wife and 2 year old girl and loved it, especially the water parks. He got the apartment cheap and just flew out. Sent him a sms for contact details for the apartment. Not somewhere I thought would be good but he loved it due to heaps of family stuff to do. The wife showed him up at the water park though, he wasn't game to do the scary ride but she loved it....

Where was the apartment in Tenerife? That's one of the places we were pricing up.
