For my off road mobility buggy idea I need some method of raising and lowering the seat.
Distance needed is approx 6" although even 4" would be a help getting in and out.
I thought a car seat raiser would work but measured our Skoda item today and that only alters by around 1"
It needs to be power raise. Skoda has a ratchet method, our old Mondeo had a screw like scissor jack and motor and can see others possibly using hydraulics.
Ram off an office chair no use because it need to be able to lift seat with person (me) sitting on it.
Any suggestions ? Weight also an issue so no massive structures. I could fabricate something from scratch but would prefer to adapt an existing item.
Any suggestions for scrap vehicle seat raiser, even manual version adaptable for power operation, that are worth considering ?
Thanks.
