to be honest jim not sure what to do with it, theres some texture in the body with the hammering, and i tried to scuff the wings with the flap wheel to give a slight hint of feather, my thinking is keep it shiny as it will stand out more, open to suggestions though

what made you give up? ive flown hawks for the last 7 years, currently flying a male gos that ive had from a chick, he's now four, you got any pictures to share of your days, it would be nice to see

Hi bullet what made me give up was the killing when out hunting, Apparantly it is a common thing as you get older, I have got photographs but this was the days before digital cameras, there is a few on my facebook page, I,ll pm you my name, my last bird was a male harris :-)

I can understand where your coming from, I don't go out for multi kills, just mainly one kill feed up, I also spent a lot of my time getting him real fit, I fly him every day, but don't hunt every day, he's currently moulting at the mo, and will start him late this season, looking at end of oct/ start of November

Yeh to get a Gos going wellthey need flying everyday sometimes that isn't possible with a fulltime job, my bird of choice would still be a spar you can get a flight anywhere with them, and they are my favourite of all :-)

I had a spar once, had to part with it at the time due to work, nice little pocket rockets, im not working at the mo due to caring for the wife,

Why not, the lad wants a few hens so I have to build a chicken coop and run first..
