Hi just on the off chance anybody on here order from this company in the states that may be willing to order me something in with there order it's not worth my while ordering just one item but that is all I need.

There is a branch not far from me (40 miles.)

Shipping from the states is ridiculously expensive. US Post tends to lose things in customs and starts around $50 (last one i shipped with them disappeared for 8 weeks.). UPS starts at about $100 for an empty box.

Then you have to add all the customs charges.

Ive ordered a few items from them recently, with no problems or complaints. They are actually very helpfull in emails too.

Certain items offer a postage service called i-parcel. Basically with this, you pay an estimated customs charge up front, meaning it sails through customs. I ordered an exhaust valve and tail pipes from them, and both times they were at my door 7 days after ordering, with no fees.

They get a thumbs up from me! Not planning on ordering anything anytime soon though, so cant help you with that.

Thats why i was asking if some one from the uk orders from there if they could order me 1 item you can't seem to get sod all in the uk

I have bought quite a few things from US and had no problems apart from one which I think was intercepted by British customs at Heathrow it took about 2mths to arrive when it did arrive it had been sent from US and was in UK in 3days, it was then sent from Heathrow 6 weeks later, AND I had to pay the postage even though I had paid for the postage from the US address to my house. AND the postage from Heathrow to my house was dearer than the first POST /PACKING from the US seller.!!

I have found ups do a jiffy bag, plastic actually and it is whatever you can get in it up to about 7-8 kg for about $15

I deal with Summit Racing weekly, I air freight all parts so they are here in around 5 days, rate is £ per $ which includes air freight charge, duties, vat etc.

It is annoying when you get on those USA websites and find loads of stuff you just can't get here or they are 1/3 of the price for a better product.

I bought some stuff from Summit when I was last in the US and they shipped it to my hotel. Seemed very helpfull.

One fo the things I bought was an oil filter cutter, amazing seeing the debris in the bottom.
