If fairly sure the triangle needs to be at rear most point. It's also worth noting that the lights are supposed to be visible during loading operations
Looks good. I put my red reflectors on the backs of the mudguards. Why is the tail door lower than the sides?

When working out the design i thought do i make it have a big tail lift so i can roll thing up on in which then restrict the view out rear window or make it shorter so it can swing out of the way so not to trip on it when loading. i went for the 2nd option.
I wouldn't worry about it but its worth knowing. My trailer has light board on drop gate and never had an issue just don't leave the lights on the car on if your loading and there is police around!

i wouldnt wurry about it . most of the old bill dont know the score anyhows and carnt be a..sed with the paperwork if they doMy light board is below the drop gate so my lights will also be obscured when drop gate is open, suppose I can always whip the gate off if I see the police around when loading.
Lol, I towed mine (fully laden) from Orkney Islands, North Scotland to Lancashire one night/next morning. 460 odd miles, top speed of 60 mph, no problems.i wouldnt wurry about it . most of the old bill dont know the score anyhows and carnt be a..sed with the paperwork if they do![]()

Am I correct in understanding that to tow unless you have had a full license since 1980 ish you must take an additional test?
If you wish to tow a trailer or caravan that weighs more that 850kg you need to take another test.
and cannot be more that 3500kg combined car and trailor weight.
Yep but the un braked capacity is 750kg. It's best to take your information direct off the dvla website as there is lots of incorrect/ disinformation on trailer sites and by people offering the training. Also if you passed your test this year it has changed again
