I was in the pub tonight and in the background was a programme about the golden days of F1 bikes, late 80's to mid 90's? when only about five people could master them.
Terrifying stuff to watch. I cant remember which channel it was.
I'm sure I saw a post here about it but cant find it now.
Is there a way of watching it online?
I remember the beauty and fury of it in those days, terrifying to watch.
These days they may go faster (do they) but the audience dont scream.
A blokey hour of cider and terror would be damn fine.

Given those teenyweeny multis had power bands of perhaps 1000 rpm at most, they needed all the gears they could get! I think they were up to 7 and 8 speed boxes by the time the strokers overwhelmed them on the grid.
