Where did you get the indicator arm and bits from Steve?

The car looks absolutely stunning. I'd love to have 5 percent of your talent as I'd be a skilled man! I'm looking forward to seeing it at the shows this year

I'm saving bits for when iv got the extra money to build a little rod too

It's a universal switch for when using us style flashing brake lights, I just stripped all the outer guts off it.

check out Gas Monkey Garage on Sky, there was a bit on the Willys earlier this week. According to the geezer, the original racers go for silly money out there. The one on the episode I saw was a bit of a wreck with no pedigree and he still made over $20K, original ones go for $200K !!!(supposedly, it is an american hotrod show after all)

Thats quite true Chris, you would pay 20K plus for just a decent Willys bodyshell

Thanks Sean, the complete fibreglass bodyshell is homemade from our own moulds.

Over the weekend i managed to knock off lots of pesky 5 minute jobs so the list is fairly short now
My 35 spline Strange Hy-Tuff shafts finally turned up so i slid them in place and put all the brakes back on, it was at this point I thought have I forgot something











I then thought I would finish off the carpet in the front of the car but my brain kept nagging me about something I had forgot, Got carpet all trimmed up and glued down, stood back to admire and thought it looked bare, thats when I realised I had forgot to fit the handbrake and cables Can't believe I did that !!!

Anyway I dug the handbrake I made out of its hiding place but now it wouldn't fit so put it away for a future project, Luckily I had a Lokar floor mounted handbrake in stock and also a cable kit, It was fiddly getting the cables into the back plates as I had refitted the drum mechanisms, got it done in the end though, works great.

Yes stuvy, I would never have just a race car, don't get enough use out of it.

I know what you mean I can't understand why people buy a car or bike and use it 6 times a year, I guess only to say they have one in there garage
