Just wondering here.
I have what i beleive to be a central heating expansion vessel lying around that says its rated to 10bar.
Now, my compressor does the job for my requirements, but i wont use it late due to the noise, its not that loud but theres a bedroom directly above my garage, so sometimes leave it charged so i can still get air without its motor kicking in.
What im wondering is, can one of these expansion vessels be converted to use as an extra air receiver? And if so what kit would i most likely need to do it (never treid anythng like this before)?
Ill have to check its capacity but presume it will take more compressed air than it would water as if i read correctly it says 5 litres. It was only a quick glance but the tank looks bigger than the 25ltr on the compressor.
Edit: I was wrong about the size. One says 18ltr while the other says 25ltr. Though it still looks bigger than the compressors 25 tank.
