Anyone in South Essex with a Plasma Cutter???

I'm in need of a favour a bit of plasma cutting done, basically I need the bottom ring (2.5 mm thick) cutting off of a gas cylinder neatly and I will travel to you...

So about a 15 minute job max I reckon, including a cuppa.

Anyone able to help me out???

Same job can be done with a thin cutting disc on an angle grinder, I have done it many times, mark it out then cut to the line easy peasy! weld can then be dressed off the bottle in just a few minutes. Job done and no travelling time.

Agree, but a plasma is quieter the neighbours were looking over the fence last weekend, seeing where all the noise was coming from.......they deserve a rest and to be allowed to BBQ in piece...

Plus I need to use the cylinder base ring not the cylinder....

For me thats not a one trip quick job. I would only ever cut a fuel cylinder that I have personally made safe.
