My fleet of grinders

Just bought a new grinder a bosh GWS 4 1/2" so thought id put up some pictures of my fleet of grinders




My old £12 Woolworths workshop 4 1/2" is the workhorse of my fleet has never let me down




My Dewalt 4 1/2" grinder its used just for cutting on 230 where i cant get a 110V supply




My Bosch GWS 4" its the baby of the collection i use it for the smaller jobs




This is my other Bosch its a GWS again and its the 4 1/2" in 110V not used it yet as its new but has good ergonomics and feels good to hold

Yeh, i can fault bosch or dewalt, i have drills, saws, grinders planer and sanders in both i like both, both realy good makes

Have to say i agree with the colour of the dewalt better

Well I keep under my welding bench:
A grinder with a 1mm cut off disk
A grinder with a normal grinding disk
A grinder with a coarse grit sanding disk
A grinder with a flap disk

.. all are 4 1/2"

as a back up I have the 9" grinder which can take stone or steel disks

If things get really hard I have the 12" petrol diamond disked Stihl saw

115mm metabo 230v ( to save carrying transformer )
115mm makita 110v with a sanding disk
115mm hitachi 110v ( small motor ) with a cutting disk
115mm hitach 110v ( big motor ) with a grinding disk

230mm hitachi 110v with cutting disk
230mm dewalt 110v with grinding disk ( switch dose my tree in )

the big motor hitach 115 mm is the toughest grinder i've ever owned it's had 5+ yrs of full on abuse, theres 20+ grinders in the graveyard under the bench

My other grinder is a plasma...

I belive red is the fastest colour. Hence my 240v Black and Decker.

I feel inadequate now only having an old B&D Proline 4.5" and a B&Q cheapie 9". I did have another 9" permanently mounted on a chop saw stand that I sold through lack of use, does that qualify me to get in the gang?

Yeh id say so, but if were talking about chop saws i have 2 a clarke with a 14" carbon disk and the other is an evolutuion sparkless
