does cunifer tarnish at all?

ive finished doing both my cars with all new cunifer...i wondered will it tarnish or go green like the copper

while its not a show car id like it to stay looking smart so maybe grease or paint it if need be

It doesn't go green but it will darken slightly.

dark is fine as long as it doesnt go all powdery

on a side note......

anyone seen any of the plastic covered stuff for sale??? You usually see it on OEM cars. Have been looking for some black covered / painted brake pipe for a while now.....

not seen it for sale...isnt it coated steel thats like that , might as well paint up some cunifer at least it should last well

"The all new...but old cunifer." They have been using it in the UK and Europe for years! but known as cupro nickel, copper, nickel, iron with a bit of manganese thrown in. I think it was Volvo first started putting it on their vehicles in the 1970s.

Correct, like RBT said it will darken but won't go green.

They can be nickel plated, looks nice
