I've got some King Crimson.

I had my "in the court of the Crimson King" stolen at a party many years ago, I forgot all about it until R6Music had a coloured vinyl thing going last week, I lost most of my record collection that night including all my coloured vinyl, New boots and panties on Gold etc.

Tends to be 6 music, or radio 4, Commercial radio sends me insane, Im not a fan of radio stations that play one genre of music, or have the same 20 songs on a continual loop, Il listen to anything from bluegrass,blues to dance hip hop and everything in between.

Never managed to get jazz, tho.

I used to listen to Arrow classic rock on MW nut now listen to Planet rock most of the time.
Still got a soft spot for Radio Caroline & they played my top 15 a couple of months back, 9;00am every morning, t'was a bit louder than the normal ones!

Got to agree with the jazz comment and consider it music for musicians that don't want to play in a group!

I don't mind Jazz. but not left field stuff, where they all go in different directions and do odd things with instruments.

I was watching one left field band in the Vortex in Stoke Newington that my mate talked me into watching and I made the mistake of looking around the audience for other people who didn't get it and cracked up laughing and several others followed suit.

Ignorant I know but I couldn't help myself when the trombone player took it apart and started eating it and making guttural grunts while the piano player was tinkling the ivories with his ****!

Absolute radio player on the PC, because they don't repeat any songs.

That's if there's no decent movies on the TV, in which case I'll listen to that. If I'm running the mill or lathe it doesn't matter what's playing but if I'm scraping or doing something quiet I like the background noise.

I have owned several albums and they just sink my boat.
robert Fripp? his solo work is fabulous, the Essential Fripp and Eno album is a favourite.
I lurve his transformer buzzing guitar stuff.
Interesting fact, his cousin runs my local Spar.

Metal rules,
Guns, Maiden, Metalica, AC, Thin Liz, Nazereth , Sabbath, Purple, Van H, White snake, Rainbow, Quo, Thunder,ZZ, Queen, Nickelback, (God) Satriani, and on the brighter side for my funeral, Dire Straits,especially Brothers in Arms, for me, that brings a lump, hairs stand, wet eyes and I cant explain it, to hear it live was ammazzzzzing !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mark makin it squeal----- YES,----and from what I remember, nearly as good as sex.
Down to earth now, off to fit discs,----------------not to a record player to a Merc 814!!!

Went in early on Tuesday to make up for lack of Monday and on with Planet Rock it was! Pallet wrapped the stereo to prevent the sacrifice of my ears to stop the other lads putting Kiss on.
