Is This Worth Getting..

Hey guys,
I do apologize as I have been making a lot of threads lately asking questions..

As a few of you know, I'm restoring my delsol.
It'll need a spray job after I've fixed the rust and bodywork.
It'll probably be easier for me to just pay someone to do it right.. but where is the fun in that haha.. anyway!

Would this air compressor be alright to use for spraying cars.
does anyone have one..

Or if anyone could refer me to something else that would be cool.

I'll be only using it for respraying my car and maybe the odd alloy wheel here and there..

yes you could spray with it but all depends on how much you expect it to do
it would soon run out of air in that little tank
something like this would be a lot better and quieter belt drive direct drives are very noisy

okay thanks Octo0072000, I will check that one out.

I will probably do the car in sections, like drivers side from rear quarter to front wing, let it dry while it was drying let the compressor build pressure up again then bumper & bonnet, so on..

would that work..

I wouldn't try using the spray gun that comes with that compressor to paint a car, they are terrible quality. buy a half decent gun and you will make the job a lot easier.

also those direct drive machines create a lot more noise then belt driven

Those kit guns may be ok with primer etc. This was a £25 sip gravity fed gun with celly.
