I don't really need to say it but i cannot go without thanking and complimenting the mods on this forum as its fantastic

But enough brown nosing lol!

fairly new to welding. Got first welder in Nov, little sealey mightymig 100 (Gassles) But used only once or twice and decided to sell while it was still new to get a bigger gas machine, So in Middle of Jan i got an old SuperMig 150/1 at god price and seems a great wee machine, only prob is only 4 power settings which can make things a bit of a challenge

All because im building a Buggy But i have caught the bug and i thinking addicted! don't know how i lived without a welder!

Anyway im going on a bit here, haha..... To sum up great site guys and im sure you will see me on here plenty lol

its a Piranha from Edge Australia
nothing exciting pic wise yet couple attached but there quite old, the bundle of bits has increased and changed, Really need the kick up the butt to get more so will try soon. I will have, prob start a build thread at some point,

Its a 600, wish it was a 918 tho and the suzuki is essentially a GSXR engine but its out of the GSX1100 F model, Or Katana its got a slightly longer piston stroke (i think) and smaller carbs but rolls out with 135BHP still but a lot of more low end Torque So i reckon itl be that.

whats the difference in spec and price?

And those gsxr slabsides are worth a few quid now as there getting thin on the gound

yer i can see the upgrading part of this addiction getting pricey haha! I got the Sealey for £140 But shes old and although previous owner didnt use much im sure a pcb will be needed in a year or 2

What you mean by slabsides? would be good if i could have it in the piranha for a year or so, and as they clock 50k easy it may still be worth a rebuild and punt..... lots to think about

Na just think the guts are the same, im sure i read sumwhere about it if i find it i'll post it, put a pic of the bike its from to give an idea tho....



Welll all in a year would be ace but ive (technically) been at it 4 months already so i think itl pass the year mark easy as i am a total amateur and learning all the time.
Only have part of the chassis welded and loads of components made, All by hand tho some more than once

What you planned build wise? I recommend it am loving the whole process :P

of course how could i forget the mighty slingshots, iv raced against one or two at the pod over the years
