Waste Carriers Licences

Looks like the rules are changing to make more people liable to need a Waste Carriers Licence.

Whenever things like this come about I always want to ask; show me you are effectively enforcing the current regulations before adding any more. Because I suspect that largely, theyre not.

By bringing more people into the regime means that if people get stopped there's a bigger chance they'll not have the necessary licence so they could be taxed, sorry, fined.

You are both right. It's far easier to bring in a law/rule to fine people than it is to raise Taxes.

well im ok i told em to get knotted when the licence was brought out years ago . i dont carry sh //te in me van. i leave it for customers to get rid of or the builders i work for

looks o-k for me as a householder, I can still take stuff to the local tip & weigh in any scrap [as long as the pikeys don't beat me to it AGAIN & swipe it from me]

a lot of small builders and especially carpet fitters get caught out on this,
due to the offcuts of carpet and underlay that bag up to dump,

one way out is to say your next job you're on route to is lay carpet in a dolls house so then technically its not rubbish.

Builders always did have to have waste carrier licences, most other trades didn't. Now it seems that it's been extended to all businesses.

Lets also not forget leavening the rubbish for the "customer" to take to the tip is still breaching the rules as its still commercial waste. Know a couple of trades that have been shopped by people with an axe to grind

yup cos your a producer of a product and do it for proffit your only likely to be pulled if u have a van though

in america the police chase people . if they get across the state line the chase is over its verry similar over here the police chase the pikeys if they manage to get over the state err i mean entrance line of there camp the chase is off
