circular/table saw

I am thinking about making a circular saw i have spare into a table saw,mainly for cutting aluminium.it has a 230mm blade,is there any issue with fitting a 210/216mm aluminium blade which has the same bore and is rated for a higher rpm(saw is 4700 and new blade would be up to 6000)

Interesting you should do that I also have a spare Saw bench I was going to sell and cant decide whether to keep and do the same as you or sell it and just switch saw blades on my sheppach which is a much better bench.

I cant see what you wish to do being an issue as the higher rated blade will just improve safety . My concern was if I should try and reduce the speed for cutting aluminium.
