my uncle has a ine its a big 300 amp one there not cheap and take alot of power to run them but lay some good welds

Yes it depends on electric board equipment.

If its there then good to go if not expect a big quote to put it in. A lot depends on what is available local

the transformers work out at £1.00 a volt thats 11k before u start then so much a pole

Yes but it comes from HV distribution typical 11kv rural or 33kv for bigger load areas

For design purposes yes but when measured its nearer 415v its another way the eu have been messing

My old man sold Fronius for years and he said it was a nightmare back in the 80's in the early days of inverters, most of mainland Europe was 380v and UK was 450ish, caused lots of problems trying to run them in the UK, so they had to supply a transformer to lower the voltage with every machine!

i thought 3 ph was 415v

it is but not all services in street have the 3 phases depending on the aeria if it is there its just a 4 core cable 3 lives at 240 volt and one neutral or 415v across the 3 phases each house is just tapped off 1 of the phases and a neutral giving 240 v and the load to the houses is balanced over the 3 phases
