Lincoln SP170

Can anyone recommend a dealer where I can buy one from and give me an idea on how much i should be paying? I contacted Lincoln and they put me onto BOC who weren't very helpful

Not sure who is lincoln agents around this area, there is the gas and gear centre at crawley (BOC), not sure if weldequip does lincoln stuff or not? if he did you would get a good price out of him

Hi Andy,
I asked weldequip about the lincoln before and i dont think he supplies them, i would suggest the Kemppi over the lincoln.

Kemppi 20-180A, 9.8kg, inverter technology. £730
Lincoln 30-170A, 32kg (i think) traditional construction £800+ approx

just my own thoughts.

Wow, £800, an SP-175 has a list price of $795US or £390 here. They are listed on ebay for $615.00.

Weight is listed as 25.9kg.

30% duty cycle at 130A.

I hear they are great units, but a that price, I'd look at a PortaMIG.

that suprises me last time i look they didnt have any kemppi machine in, must admit its been about 3 weeks since in been in the shop. no doubt i will have to go there tommorrow and pay me bill

Just to confirm BOC are now selling the kemppi range but badged in BOC colours, the local gas and gear centre had the 250c and a few others in. For the 250c which would be the 2501, they were selling it for about £980 + Vat. which seemed reasonable, just found the 2501 on the net for over £1100 + VAT. Not sure what the best anyone has found the 2501 for on price
