I like chrismas but hate choosing presents,Don't like spending money on things that are not wanted or needed, I'v simplified things somewhat by giving all my grand children cash in a card so they they can choose themselves, Does prove to be rather expensive, as I have eleven of the lovely little blighters!!

I went to do my bit last night, have to get the wife something of the kids! I picked up a cd in HMV in the a Trafford centre and made my way to the counter. When I got there I looked around for the end of the cue only to find it quite literally over half way around the floor of the shop! Needless to say I put the cd on the nearest shelf and walked straight out. The same happened in Clinton cards so I left and came home. Her face was a picture when I came back with no bags!

Had to treck round Liverpool 1 today with the wife to be and the soon to be in-laws, 2 hours in I was ready for either giving someone a serious beating or jumping off the highest point with pockets full of lead. Just as my anger peaked Mr In-law decided enough was enough and we sat in the car having a long chat about anything mechanical, engineering, war and religion.

One of the best moderated sites I've ever seen too.

As for Christmas presents, it's difficult these days to work out what to get people, so sadly Amazon wish lists tend to be a friend.

I tend to give lists to people too - hence my wife was able to get me a WP20 torch for my birthday!

Online shopping is your friend, always need to do it between mid November and beginning December though.

I asked for contributions toward this, rode it the first time today:
