Cornwell tools

Have you any experience with their spanners/ratchets/sockets etc?

I was just about to buy a set of Snap On flank drive plus 'wrenches',but came accross a similar set made by Cornwell.a bit of googling says theyre fairly durable,and i wont need to take out a mortgage like the SO set.

Do you mean Cornwell or Cromwell, I have a set of flank drive spanners,both ring and open end,Made by Roebuck called uni-wrench I believe.

Roebuck is the brand name for items sold by Buck and Hickman

No he does mean Cornwell gordon....they are American, based in Ohio.....

Yes, I got my Roebuck uniwrench combination spanners new, Strange but true story,
I had just been reading a very good report on them when first released. Did a search on ebay and and saw a tool shop had some listed at start price of £4-99p, Put a snipe bid in and waited,Almost forgot about them until the email came telling me I had won them, Nobody bid at all,got them for the starting price,Thought the shop would make an excuse not to sell but no,they arrived in a couple of days.Good spanners I like em,Came in a really nice Roebuck black canvas tool roll too.
