African tree

I recently decided to do a beginners blacksmith course to help with my sculpture. Today I decided to put down my normal work and work on something I've been asked to make that will give me some practice. I'm having a go at making an african acacia tree.

I'll post up some photos in a bit.

Almost done! I've hammered till my arm and hand wont move but I'm getting there. I polished it up and am really pleased with the texture the forge gives it!

Now I just need to figure out whether or not to put a frame around it. Any suggestions?

The tree? very nice, all curly like. Liked it a lot.

HAHAHA Chunkolini I'm very sorry!! I just cant help thinking it will add the same dimensions to your work as it has to mine, its just another weapon to add to your already awesome arsenal! As a metal worker its the most ancient mystical form and it amazes me!! Give it a go!!
