Question before I advertise welding stuff for sale

A question for the mods.

I'm selling all my welding equipment because the work never materialised that I was hoping for.

The forum rules state that gas cylinders can not be sold here, but I have an almost full 9L Adams Gas, Argon bottle (used only once for about five minutes) that I now need to dispose of.

When I take some pics of what is for sale can I include that as it is not rented, or will I need to contact Adams to come and collect it?

If the rules don't apply to non-rented bottles I will of course specify that any one that wants buy must have a trailer or open back vehicle.

It seems a shame to send back a nearly full bottle.

You would have to check with Adams gas what there policy is on transferring the deposit on the bottle as the bottle will still be owe

If you've paid the deposit on it then I assume that covers you for the cost of replacing the cylinder so in effect you've paid them for it but please confirm that with Adamsgas before advertising it on here.

my suggestion would be, if you know any other welders in close distance, ask if they want the use of the gas for a few quid, and when they are done return the bottle and ger your deposit back?

profit off the gas then too
