lol yup correct a guy near me laughed when i said they were. he though i was joking. right handed ones are about £9.00 to buy left handed are £24

Well I am left handed, and cant imagine anything more awkward to use than that, same with a micrometer, would always hold it in the right hand,

in general the right handed ones are esy to use if your left handed but taking measurements in the lathe is a pain as the digits are upside down

I suppose it would come in handy if there was an obstruction to one side of where you wanted to measure which made it difficult to get the instrument in?
