its made for automotive use , but imo more so for quickie sales jobs and smart repairs to bumper corners, door jambs etc
being 1k id have my doubts about how it will hold up after seeing some weather etc , i have no experiance of the upol but others can crows foot and yellow in no time

What would your choice be 2k ??? It's to respray a whole car as in primer-basecoat-then clear still early stages yet so plenty of time im going to be playing with water based met paint soon see how I get on with it

2k will beat it hands down...assuming you can use a airfed mask
I used it over the top of Celly for my first proper paint job, been a year now and panels have been on and off the bike endless times kicking round the workshop, lately the bike has been outside in the bad weather. Got a few chips here and there but it did the job I wanted it to, seemed glossy and just the same as Celly to lay down, light coats as it is runny but you get through allot and it's not cheep.
I'm moving on to 2k though as I have learnt the downfalls of Celly and 1k.

Yes 2K, it's just a far superior product.
Personally I wouldn't bother with the WB as if you havnt got the equipment your wasting your time in my opinion. Only the basecoat is WB do I can't see the advantage gained.

What langy said. 90% of top coat finish problems occur with celly and mostly due to the amount of thinner involved. Once you have a stable substrate (2k primer) the rest every usually not a problem. It will also eliminate the annoying ghosting which is ever present in patched and feathered metalics. I have seen some shocking examples as has langy and steveo im sure.

I've just used up the last of the Upol 1K Acrylic clear I had before moving onto 2k paints and had an area the size of an egg pickle-up which extended until it was the Ostrich variety. And then when you sand this back you're confronted with the same problem again. I sand it back, stick some barcoat over it, sand the barcoat a little, apply primer and then topcoat to get over this.
Yes I have used it for whole panels. With all these things it is how it will look in 10 years time that matters. I don't know the answer to that. I use it to avoid isocyanate as I spray in my garage with a carbon mask and the up and over doors open on days with no wind.
