Hi all, as you all may know i have recently got my bike up and running/driving after rebuild, I fitted some "universal motorcycle lights" i bought off of A certian auction site we all know and love. They came with some standard cheapo looking H3 55w 12v bulbs, one of them (dip beam) has blown already, could it be down to vibration or just soley cheap crappy bulbs? maybe i should go HID as these apparently have a much better life span? the bulbs and the glass and metal holders are inside a rubber donut thing with 2 big jubilee clip type things around the outside to there's no metal-to-metal contact inside, or shal i just get some more reasonable branded bulbs from a certain online shop and see how they fair
i will measure the voltage on the headlight wires at various RPM and report back
could it also be the constantly varying voltage?. as when idling then the lights are much dimmer than when at revs??
will
