yeah I can imagine that, some people just don't care about equipment, especially if it's not their own!

parweld are good enough torches but going by mine which is only 2 months old not durable enough im afraid. You will find the trigger starts to play up. Ok for the diyer but hopeless for constant use

I've had 4 new trigger switches in 6 months

A bit bothered by these comments on the Parweld switches, while mine will not be balls to wall pro use all day everyday, it is used for paying hobby work, should I be looking at swapping it out for a different torch...? if so what...?

I just got a MB15 sized Parweld torch recently from Weldequip, as my MB25 was a bit bulky. Hoping they're not as flaky as people are making out as they looked like a good torch when I did some research.

I had an MB15 on mine but I prefer the bigger torches, I guess it's what you get used to handling on a daily basis, I hear what you're saying about being flaky.....

I'll be looking to buy a new MB15 torch soon and had been looking at the Parweld and comparing it with a binzel. Maybe weldequip could comment on some of the issues over triggers mentioned here?

I appreciate that the money you guys spend on torches is a lot of money in the context of DIY/Hobby use, but the torch types and the names mentioned are made and sold at a price. They are usually mass produced in China to keep costs down as the market for these items is very price conceous and cut throat.

I don't think it matters whether you go for a SWP/Binzel/TBI/Parweld/Weldspares etc, if you choose there eco range then they will all be of simerla quality.

You should ask for the Premium range from any of the manufacturers, they will of course be more expensive, but you should see a big difference.

The Parweld I got is advertised as 'Parweld SB150 Premium Euro-Torch' so I would assume it's of reasonable quality, it feels like a nice torch anyway.

The parweld weldequip sells is the premium range. Is it the premium range people are having bother with triggers on, or is it the economy range?

Mine is the SB250 and has been excellent up till now, mind its only had three weeks work....
