if you cant find these at aldi then these are the same, just with 2 years less warrenty

Had a look this afternoon just before they shut and picked up a shear and a ratchet driver, some wire brushes (hand) and a set of pry bars on their reduced counter.
Picked the regulator up and put it down again as I couldnt make out what threads were in it. Has anyone else bought one - are they any good and does anyone know what the thread is?

If it's the metal reel with yellow hose I bought one of those last year and they are good value for money. Just look out for peeling paint, the first one had this problem but the replacement is fine.

threads on the reg are same as any popular airline end ...whatever that is but they all fit

This one looks like a plastic case still with yellow hose
Hose reel is ok for what it is - be aware it is only 6mm hose so not great for high air consumption tools, also tubing is "harder" plastic, so liable to damage.
I have rigged one up on the bench just for convenience and running tyre inflator, blow gun etc, doubt it will run my impact gun though

Had a look at that small retractable hose reel yesterday and found it a bit cheap and tacky, didn't bother getting one.
Also, I noticed that the compressor is no longer supplied with an accessories kit. When I bought mine several years ago for £69.95 it came with the kit that is now £20 on it's own !
So now the compressor is £99.95 and the kit is £19.95 !!

I bought mine for £69.95 with the kit, same as you, since sold the paint spraygun on the bay for £12 so reduced the price further!
Blimey, thats amazing ! Never even crossed my mind to sell the bits I don't need, didn't think anyone would be interested ! I actually have 2 of those spray guns, 1 from another small compressor I bought years ago. They're about to find new homes then !

I bought a nail gun the other day, though I'm not sure when I'll use it. They didn't have air ratchets in the one I visited, I'll have to try another branch.

some people have fitted a car oil filter for the air filter on these, sposed to quieten em down

someone on here did it , from memory its a older mini oil filter that just screws on , think some have remote mounted it as well
