I run it on my laptop at home, a fairly new HP (No idea of spec) and it is a bit slow, but useable.
I've got a CF27 sitting in my garage that you can have to try it out (and keep if it works), has XP on it as I recall, wifi card in a PC card slot, USB etc.
This beast has a single USB port under a cover on the back, has a fearsome 256MB of RAM. Just powered it up and disabled as many features of XP as possible. I'll get it on the way to Paul sometime this week.

Looks like it'll be PC66/PC100 SDRAM. It has a 256MB stick in there, not sure a bigger stick of RAM will work.
It looks to be a 300Mhz Pentium 2 CPU - my first PC had a 350 and was fast enough at the time, but the world has moved on a lot since then! Before I send it out it might be worth investigating if it will run the software you need Paul, saves paying postage for what might as well be a parcel of bricks if it won't run it (and it as as heavy as some bricks!)
