rocol cutting grease??

is there another name for it? can't find it any where on ebay.
I use it for tapping out threads.
yes I've tried that to t/grease...

Mine says Rocol RTD. Comes in grease-type form, and a liquid.

rocol cutting compound or use halls or trefolex. and templars temaxol. if u buy the solid compound u can thin it with white spirit and use it in a squeezy bottle those ebay prices are crap and over priced

Think that's what it says on the tin I have here too. RTD compound. Most unhelpful name on earth regarding quick clues as to use.

I use a 'moly' product,think it maybe 'molycut'-from local bearing supplier,cheap when you buy in 5 litre qty & lasts years.

Place I used to work had a copper shop, making electrical switch-gear for ships. they used tallow for spinning & drawing, butter for tapping, full fat milk for drilling, turning & milling (in summer the apprentice had to clean machines twice a week & refill the tanks from a churn brought by the milkman) & the place stank but the finish on the work was wonderful.
