seen some v.cheap imported ones that roll & press with that capacity well under £200,cant speak for quality though.Hi guys, I may need to roll out some 0.8-1mm ali sheet approx 300mm wide x 65mm radius. What would be an economical machine for this?.
Cheers
I use a 3 in one 'formit' for folding and rolling (bought from Axminster) .It's a pretty good machine, although mine needed a bit of reworking here and there to get it working well ...the roller retaining 'thing' (a sort of swivelling cotter pin set up) was next to useless without modification! It handles 1mm ali of that width through the rolls with ease, and will fold that width nicely as well. But the shear side of things is a bit lightweight ...unless all you want to cut in steel is shim!

...the one in your pick looks like the wider one (750mm) ...the way they work I reckon the biggun would struggle folding or rolling at anything near full width.
