Regulator suitability

I have chance of an 'as new' Wescol single stage, twin gauge reg., however it is marked 3.5 Argon, will this be suitable for all the usual mig shielding gases?.

Yes, it will be ok for all the argon mixes and pure argon, not for pure co2 though, that is a different fitting but you can buy adaptors,

Thanks for that, I intend using Argonshield light so it should be ok?.

Yes it will be fine, just check that the service pressure of the regulator is ok for the cylinder you are using, boc cylinders are filled to 230 bar, the reg should have it stamped on the body or have a sticker on it, modern regs are good for 300 bar, if its new you shouldn't have a problem
