OK how do YOU handle and mix paint for spraying. It seems I always make a mess, but perhaps that's just me
In particular recently I've been spraying a xylene based hammer paint that comes in a 5 litre 'big top' can and it seems happiest mixed three parts to to two of thinners. So - full 5 litres, not practical to tip it, how to transfer to mixing cup? I've now made a mini ladle out of a cat food tin cut down, but there must be a better way.
Incidentally this paint was fine with me spraying it this morning at about 6 degrees - bally cold but no issues with fogging blooming or not hardening. Love xylene paints!
But I'd be interested to hear how others transfer paint and mix it.
