Glasses so thick they could be used for re-entry shields on the space shuttle...2 Knacked knees (37 years roofing) 1 ellbo joint not worth a carrot..bent fingers...2" reduced from my height..50% loss in my left ear and other aches and pains that dont go untill 9am every day and my question is who else has had a nice package of old age ware and tear thrown at them without even askin for them??? good news i still have my own teeth and hair for now

Ripped my hamstring out my pelvis 6/7yrs ago while Racing Enduro. Did nothing about it

Feels like I've been kicked in the **** every 2 minutes, leading to screaming sciatica and other problems, such as been unable to sit for more than a few minutes. Lower back problems. And on my last visit to the specialist I was asked how my hip was. When I told him it was fine. The answer was not for long. All leading to walking around like you for the first half hour or so doubled up And my eye sight not what it used to be and the refusal to wear glasses for reading.

I'm only 46 for god sake. Other than that I'm fine

How come we've got 40 somethings posting in a 50 somethings thread? Are you wishing your lives away?
I'm very close to 43 and the only thing wrong with me at the mo is plantar fasciitis in both feet.
Might have to see about cortisone shots as the gel the doc gave me is doing nothing to help the pain. (Mind you, probably nor is the running I'm still doing. )

Had my hernia done , left eye is going fuzzy , tennis elbow burning like HELL all day , my verouka is five years old on the heel and pains me , slipped ar## over t#t 2 years ago came down on the ankle , tore the ligaments , had physio for it but im still limping , knees are shot and I stiffen up after an hour sitting down , the joys of being 48 /49 !

Went mountain biking with a bunch of guys in their 20's a while back.

The impudent pup walked half of it. Told me I was crazy.
How old am I? 50 next month.
But thats as old as my Dad, and older than his Dad.
It's great showing the young un's how to behave.

I'm a young 47

Had a double hernia done a few years back now its happened again and its not keyhole any more but general surgery, so i've been putting it off

Everything else seems to be ok, lost a couple of teeth, but have the rest

Going for ultrasound and biopsy on tuesday to confirm the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Just got to hope its not spread.
