I like the quilted bonnet in the first pic one mod to consider is to change the spare wheel hold down to the clamp type that needs a wheel spanner to release, converted mine to stop any scrotes having the wheel away.

planing to make a bracket that has a padlock in it. its not so much of an issues round my way as the scrots are to buisy knicking overhead lines and rail tracking! if i relocate with work though will need to consider sercurity

Simplest one I saw was post with a hole (for padlock) that pokes through one of the wheelstud holes.

My friend's lad put his 2.25 petrol engine on ebay this week, it's a 5 bearing with pre-engaged starter. It ran sweet as a nut but was too thirsty for him.

He's been up this morning. It was a Buy it now and it went for £120 so he's happy now. It looks like somebody still wants them. He's borrowed my engine hoist to load it up this weekend.

Some progress at last! I know it's short but that's how long the bender is!seat box with repairs and strengthening undersidefloor in with new cross braces and front section riverted and tiger glued in

I see you've got the fixing point for the spare wheel in the back if you don't want to put it on the bonnet.

Is that what the square thing if for? Will be no use there as will be fitting the steel tool box that was in van and 110
