This is not a reply but a question.
I am unemployed. I have previously been coded in ASMI9 TIG & MMA S/S & M/S & TIG S/S Sockets & Carbon steel sockets & Copper pipe in TIG & so on.
I worked for British Aerospace. This is where I obtained all my codings. They refused to give me any certificates stating that they belong to them. As I look for work & coded welders wanted. I have nothing to show. I can not afford any codings & I am under the impression that even if I did get my own code I could not use them as they are non transferable. Most jobs now are through agencies & they have no idea what a code is. The companies are unwilling to re code anyone & use the existing code that the employee has or that has ran out. My question is. Are codings transferable that belong to the employee or ex employer.
